My First Guest Blogger- Katherine Thompson!

I was remiss in posting this. Last week my niece and brother went to the game on 4/24 because I had a park board meeting. Here is the recap from my niece. She is a Junior at Hope Academy in Minneapolis.

"I’ve never been the biggest professional sports fan, but the energy of the Twins and the Target Stadium is undeniable. The open air, the cheering, crowd, and the view of the city makes every game special. Even on the chill Wednesday night when I went this past week, I loved the crowd, the food, and the company. Thanks to my epic aunt, my dad and I were able to enjoy the game from great seats looking onto the first base (although I’m still a little salty we didn’t catch a foul ball :) Not only did I have a great night, but the Twins brought home a win too. I hope the rest of the season goes great for the Twins and maybe I could see them a couple more times!"

(Kate calls me 'epic' because I took her and her sister and my son to see Taylor Swift in Los Angeles last summer. It was, indeed, epic... I'll leave that for the kids to talk about details... just know, what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas... )

On Wednesday April 24th the Twins won their 2nd of what is currently a 10 game win streak!
